Visualization 4 Studio
The goal of this class is to
provide students with the theoretical understanding, practical skills, perceptual vocabulary,
and applied experience needed to become effective at creating professional level visual communications for new display screen based user experiences and interface designs.
The
course takes on 3 projects during the semester that employ both analog and digital tools to go from early sketching of
ideas and testing with end users to higher levels of production for
communicating the ultimate vision for the user’s experience.
Weekly sessions typically include a class
critique of the prior weeks homework, followed by lecture topics and
demonstrations, in-class one on one work
time, and discussion. The class sometimes works in collaboration with the M4
